Hilights!
• Prayerwalking in different locations within the city…and making divine connections along the way. (This happened throughout the duration of our outreach...by just being there and going the places we did, divine appointments happened that can be built upon in the future by the full-time Worker hosting us!)
• An evening to encourage and pray with a believing Turkish family.
• Traveling with and sharing our lives and our faith with a 19 year-old Turkish Muslim student for 2 days.
• A huge hi-light: Our team stayed 2 days in a mountain village where previous teams had prayerwalked asking the Lord for the message of salvation to be received on these mountainsides and in these valleys!
• They received us with open arms and with our very little Turkish and their very little English we managed to communicate with each other. We just lived our normal Christian lives among them, loving them and each other, worshipping and praising the Lord in song, reading the Word, praying together at meals and enjoying being immersed in another culture.
• Even without knowing the Turkish language, seeds of the gospel were planted. We believe that God used our team in the process of creating a welcome in their hearts for Jesus.
• Our interaction helped to deepen the link between the village and our host.
