Sharing Coffee...and Life! 
Use your affection for coffee shops as a springboard to share the love of Jesus with college/university students and the local community in a coffee shop in one of the least-reached cities in Asia. You’ll make a difference by prayerwalking where few have called on the name of our Savior. Learn about a Kingdom international business and efforts to stop human trafficking.
Making a Difference!
- Being an English speaker gives you an immediate “in” to share your life with University students who are seeking out English conversation. Building relationships opens doors to share the Lord with those who have never heard.
- Time will be spent prayerwalking the spiritually significant areas of the city.
- According to the gifts and talents of the team—arrangements can be made for performances of music, drama, lectures, etc. on the coffee shop stage!
Other Elements
- International Business: learn first-hand from a “Kingdom-minded” business owner about the challenges and strategic opportunities of doing business cross-culturally. Get a vision for impacting “least reached” countries with the hope of Jesus through business.
- Human Trafficking: learn how Kingdom-minded people are actively being the hands and feet of Jesus through rescuing girls from brothels and prostitution in this Asian city. Encourage this outreach ministry through on-site prayer and mercy ministry activities.
- Prefield: You will receive reading materials and in-person training to help you prepare. STEM’s 25 year history taking short-term teams gives their staff many ways to help you!
- Onfield: You will have a cultural orientation and introduction, as well as guidelines for service.
- Throughout the trip you will mostly enjoy the local cuisine, though there are opportunities to also return to western food.
- We will spend some time visiting historical and cultural sites.

Cost
$75 registration fee $1645 Team Member Fee = $1720 Total Cost. (excluding airfare or visa) Cultural tour may be an additional cost. Team members will need to bring their own money for souvenirs, personal items, and any additional airport meals.
Team Make-up
Team language is English. 6 people needed - in addition to the STEM Team Leader who will provide around-the-clock leadership and assistance.
Training
Pre-field training (included in posted dates) includes educational materials, Team Manual and Team Training in Minneapolis prior to departure (for other training locations, please ask). The Team Training is required. On-field orientation and debriefing will be in Asia.
