STEM Classic 1800 Golf Event!
Join the STEM Staff & Board on Monday, September 8th for 18 great holes of “scramble” golf. We’re praying for a total of 32 golfers who will help STEM raise at least $40,000.
Funds raised will be used for logistical support of Mission Maker Magazine 2009 and to send hundreds of short-term volunteers to help disadvantaged people around the world. These volunteers bring life and hope to Urban Minneapolis, Katrina-stricken Gulf Coast regions, Iowa-Flood regions, and more than a dozen developing nations (in Central & Southeast Asia, Africa, Central & South American, and the Caribbean).
Plus … win fabulous prizes — including up to $5,000 for a hole-in-one!
Two ways to golf:
- FundRaiser Golfer — do your best to raise at least $1,800 by sponsoring yourself for the first $100, and obtaining sponsorships for the remaining $1,700. As a FundRaiser Golfer, you will be elilgible for the top prizes (including the $5,000 Hole-in-One prize)!
- Donor Golfer — sponsor yourself or another golfer by contributing a $300 donation and join the fun! (no additional fundraising is required). You'll be eligible for a $2,500 Hole-in-One prize — plus other great prizes!
all golfers may secure Corporate Sponsorship
Any golfer may secure any number of Corporate Sponsorships at any level, and apply a portion of that Corporate Sponsorship toward his/her personal sponsorship. If you secure a:
- $300 Corporate Sponsor —> apply $300 toward your personal sponsorship!
- $500 Corporate Sponsor —> apply $300 toward your personal sponsorship!
- $1,000 Corporate Sponsor —> apply $400 toward your personal sponsorship!
- $2,500 Corporate Sponsor —> apply $500 toward your personal sponsorship!
- $5,000 Corporate Sponsor —> apply $600 toward your personal sponsorship!

* The more Personal Sponsorship you raise, the greater your Hole-in-One Prize will be! Hole-in-One prizes are for: hole #2 (161 yards) and hole #17 (166 yards). And in addition to this cash prize, any golfer who hits a Hole-in-One is eligible for an Apple iPod, Sony Cyber-Shot Pro Digital Camera, Sony Camcorder, or Sony Dream System Home Theater!
