STEM Int’l Privacy & Security Statement
Your privacy, our commitment
Greetings from STEM Int’l and welcome to our site! We extend the following information to assure you, our guest, that we are concerned about and respect your privacy while visiting our website. Please take a minute to review the following policy.
What personal information do we collect?
STEM does not collect personal information without your knowledge while you visit our website. The type of information we collect directly corresponds with the service you request. For instance, through our website you can make donations, make inquiries of our services, order publications, and register for events. The information we collect is only the information you provide, information necessary to facilitate our response to your specific request.
How we use it?
When you make a donation, purchase publications, register for an event, or request information via our website, we ask for such information as your name, address, phone numbers, and email address. This contact information allows us:
- To send to you a receipt for your donation, for publications purchased, or for event registration,
- To provide to you information requested, and
- To mail to you purchased publications.
When you use our web inquiry forms, you have the option to let us know how you became acquainted with STEM (although you are not required to provide this information). We only use this information internally, to determine where our advertising budgets have been effective and therefore better steward our limited resources.
Who do we share it with?
STEM assures that when you visit, navigate, and communicate with us through our website, we will not collect personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide that information. If you do provide personal information to us, in no case will we sell, rent, or exchange your name, address, or personal information outside of STEM Int’l, except as necessary to satisfy any legal, judicial, administrative, or governmental requirements. Any information you provide to us will remain secure and private, both online and offline.
Credit card transactions
To process a credit card transaction, you will be linked to a secure website where your transaction will be processed. Your credit card information is not forwarded to STEM.
Should you send comments or questions via email, we will share your communications with the appropriate staff member. Please note that, unless we advise you otherwise, the email facilities of our website do not provide a means for completely secure and private communication. For that reason, to protect your privacy, please do not email information that you consider to be confidential. If you wish, contact us instead by phone at 763-560-1616.
